Account access
Verify, sign in, or recover access without sharing a secret.
Use these provider-neutral steps when an email verification, sign-in link, or password recovery flow does not complete as expected.
Email verification
Open the newest PostLane verification message in the same browser or device where you are completing setup. Confirm that the message was requested by you and that its visible destination is getpostlane.com before continuing.
If the callback confirms the link but the app does not resume, return to PostLane and sign in again. The callback page never needs to display, log, or store the token from the link.
Resend a verification or sign-in email
Request one new message, wait for it to arrive, then use only the newest link. Repeated requests can invalidate older messages or make it unclear which link is current.
Check spam or filtered mail folders and confirm the address for typographical errors before requesting another message.
Expired, already-used, or unavailable links
| State | What it means | Available next step |
|---|---|---|
| Expired | The link is outside its permitted time window. | Request one new link and use the newest message. |
| Already used | The one-time link has already completed or cannot be reused. | Return to the app or request a new link if access did not complete. |
| Unavailable | The callback could not complete the request. | Retry from PostLane, then contact Support if the issue continues. |
Password recovery
Start recovery from the PostLane sign-in screen, enter the account email, and follow the newest recovery message. Choose a new password only inside the trusted PostLane flow.
If you no longer control the account email, contact Support from an address you can access. Support may ask for non-secret account context to investigate, but cannot bypass identity checks.
Sign-in help and secret safety
- Use the newest link you requested and close older messages.
- Keep verification and recovery links private, even when asking for help.
- Describe the visible error and approximate time without copying the URL query or fragment.
- Report suspicious messages to support@getpostlane.com without forwarding credentials or tokens.
