Privacy Policy

Effective August 9, 2026

PostLane is operated by Doualspark Inc (“PostLane,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how PostLane handles information when you use the app, visit getpostlane.com, or contact support.

Information you provide

We may process your name, email address, phone number, other contact information, account credentials handled by our authentication provider, user ID, profile fields, profile photos or videos you choose to add, privacy settings, verification information, support messages, reports, and other content you choose to create or share.

Website submissions and launch-update consent

When you submit a website form, we process the information you choose to provide for launch updates, support, a safety or community report, account-access help, organizer interest, or the delete-account fallback. Depending on the form, this may include your contact or account email, name or username, city or region, selected interests, issue or report category, message and relevant context, follow-up preference, and the acknowledgements shown with the form.

A launch-update request may also include the consent copy version, confirmation state, confirmation and request timestamps, and whether the request has been suppressed or unsubscribed. We use this information to confirm and honor your choice, send requested launch communications, prevent duplicate enrollment, and maintain the suppression state needed to respect an unsubscribe request.

Website intake operations and anti-abuse information

Website intake records may include the source page, locale, timestamps, an opaque public reference, submission and duplicate-detection values, lifecycle and delivery states, and form-specific operational metadata. A network address and normalized email may be processed to create keyed rate-limit hashes; the website intake tables use those hashes as rate-limit subjects rather than storing the raw values for that purpose.

We use validation, a hidden anti-bot field, minimum-completion checks, per-network and per-email rate limits, and duplicate detection to protect the forms from spam and abuse. These controls may reject, delay, or treat a repeated submission as a duplicate. Delivery records may include provider message or send identifiers, attempt and delivery states, limited error categories, and related timestamps.

Community, conversation, and plan data

PostLane may process friend connections, friend requests, blocks, Community posts, media, comments, Circles, memberships, invitations, profile-share references, chats, consent states, Plans, Events, RSVPs, Picks, Places, saved items, Safety Check-Ins, Trusted Contact selections, notification preferences, and related moderation status. Messages and other user content are used to deliver the features you request and to support safety, reliability, and abuse prevention.

Location and sensitive information

If you choose to use a supported location feature, PostLane may process precise or coarse location while you use the app to support city or region updates, discovery, Plans, Events, and safety-related context. Certain profile, consent, safety, report, or verification information may be sensitive. We use it only for the feature you selected, service security, safety, support, and lawful obligations.

Safety, reports, and moderation

Reports, block signals, moderation notes, safety details, and support messages may be used to review abuse, enforce the Community Guidelines, protect people, prevent fraud, and respond to safety concerns. Website intake forms create private, access-restricted case records and operational delivery metadata. Reports may include contact information, account or profile references, category, description, relevant content references, timestamps, and follow-up preference.

Device, interaction, and diagnostic data

We may process a device identifier, product interaction, performance data, and other diagnostic data to operate the app, protect accounts, investigate errors, measure reliability, prevent abuse, and improve supported features. We do not use this information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, and PostLane does not use it for third-party advertising or developer advertising.

Local-only and deferred data

Search recents remain on your device and are not collected as App Privacy Search History. Device contact import, audio capture, payments, wallet, purchases, voice and video calling, contact scanning, and other launch-deferred features are disabled and are not collected through the Release app. PostLane does not collect health or fitness data, browsing history, advertising data, or payment and financial information for the launch service.

How we use information

We use information for app functionality, including authentication, profiles, Community, Circles, Chat, Search, consent, sharing, Plans, Events, Safety, notifications, support, and account-deletion requests. We may use location, sensitive information, and other user content to personalize the supported experience you request. We may use user ID, product interaction, performance data, and other diagnostic data for analytics and reliability.

Service providers and disclosure

Vercel hosts the public website and website API and may process request and operational metadata needed to provide and secure them. Supabase provides database and related backend services used to store access-restricted website intake, consent, case, rate-limit, and delivery records. Resend provides email delivery and related contact or topic services for confirmation messages, visitor receipts, internal operational notifications, delivery status, suppression, and unsubscribe handling where applicable.

We may provide information to these and other service providers that host, secure, deliver, diagnose, or support PostLane, only as needed for those services. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse or fraud, or in connection with a lawful business transition. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Data retention

We use different retention classes for launch consent, purpose-bound operational requests, safety or security records that may require a legal hold, anti-abuse and rate-limit records, and provider delivery, suppression, or unsubscribe records. We retain each class only as long as reasonably needed for its purpose, including providing and securing the service, honoring communication choices, maintaining safety and abuse-prevention records, answering requests, resolving disputes, and meeting applicable legal obligations. An unsubscribed or suppressed state may be retained as needed to keep honoring that choice.

Retention depends on the information, purpose, request state, safety needs, and legal requirements; PostLane does not promise one exact duration for every class. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove information from provider backups; backup copies follow the provider’s secured backup cycle and are not used as active service records.

Your choices, rights, and account deletion

You can change supported privacy and notification settings in the app, withdraw launch-update consent or request suppression through the unsubscribe option provided with an update or through Support, and ask us to stop communications that are based on your consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal.

Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information associated with you. These rights may be limited where information must be retained for security, safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or the rights of others. We may need to verify your identity and request before acting.

You can request account deletion in Settings → Account → Delete Account, review its status, and request cancellation where available. A pending request is not completed deletion. Completion is shown only after the service confirms it. If you cannot use the in-app path, follow the support steps on the Delete Account page.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including authentication, access controls, transport security, and restricted administrative access. No service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us promptly if you believe your account or information is at risk.

Eligibility and regional requirements

You must meet the age rating that applies to PostLane in your regional App Store and have the legal capacity to agree to the Terms. Where applicable law requires permission from a parent or legal guardian, you may use PostLane only with that permission.

Policy changes

We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
