Future policy
Events / Payments
PostLane's current focus is discovery, plans, circles, and chat. Future tools may support paid real-world events, deposits, tickets, and organizer payouts only after policy, safety, Apple, Stripe, refund, dispute, organizer, and legal requirements are reviewed.
Current state
Payments, deposits, tickets, and organizer payouts are not live unless a specific PostLane page, app screen, or official announcement says they are available. PostLane is preparing for launch and should not be treated as a paid event product today.
PAY.0 manual cost split
PAY.0 is manual non-payment tracking only. People may track who has marked a shared cost as paid or unpaid, but PostLane does not move money or hold stored balances in V2.
Future real-world event payments
Future payment tools may support real-world or offline events where allowed. Those tools require owner/legal approval, clear event policy, refund and cancellation terms, support handling, fraud controls, and App Store classification review before launch.
Stripe and Apple classification
Future Stripe infrastructure may be used for allowed real-world event payments. Digital premium app features, digital visibility, subscriptions, or in-app digital content may require Apple IAP/StoreKit instead and must not be routed through Stripe unless reviewed.
Organizer payouts
Organizer payouts are deferred. If PostLane later pays hosts or organizers from event proceeds, Stripe Connect, onboarding, KYC/verification, refund/dispute rules, payout timing, platform fee disclosure, risk controls, and legal review may be required first.
