Owner/legal review draft

Terms

Last updated: May 7, 2026

These terms are a plain-language launch draft for PostLane. They support owner and legal review for a social discovery and real-world planning app centered on Community, Circles, Chat, Me, posts, plans, and events.

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for the activity on your account, for keeping your sign-in method secure, and for contacting support if you believe your account is compromised. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, or private credentials to support.

User content

You are responsible for the posts, photos, videos, profile details, chat messages, circle content, event content, and other material you add or send. You should only share material you have the right to share, and you should respect other people's privacy, consent, and safety.

Community conduct

PostLane is built for community, conversations, circles, events, and trusted coordination. Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, exploit, spam, scam, defraud, discriminate, share unwanted sexual content, or use the service for unlawful activity.

Circles, chats, posts, plans, and events

Use circles, chats, posts, plans, and events honestly. Event details should be clear, accurate, and respectful of attendee safety. Event chat and circle event chat should help people coordinate, not pressure, mislead, or endanger them.

Safety and moderation actions

PostLane may review reports, account identifiers, and content identifiers; remove content; limit account actions; restrict event participation; pause or remove events; or suspend accounts when needed to protect people, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, or enforce community rules. Community reports may be reviewed and acted on under the Community Guidelines and safety policies.

Future payments

PostLane's current public focus is discovery, plans, circles, and chat. Future real-world event payments, deposits, tickets, refunds, cancellations, organizer policies, and payout rules are deferred until owner/legal review and approved implementation. PostLane does not claim stored balances or organizer payouts as live features.

Service changes

Features may change as PostLane improves. Launch-deferred features are not promised as active unless they are visible, supported, approved, and announced in the app or on a specific PostLane page.

Legal review

These launch-draft terms should be reviewed before public launch. Future paid-event, refund, cancellation, dispute, and organizer terms require separate owner/legal approval before any paid event phase begins.
